Maya DeVine

Maya is a tattoo apprentice, visual artist, and writer whose work is rooted in storytelling and human connection. Originally from Chicago, Maya’s early life was shaped by constant movement, international travel, and new surroundings. Through it all, the one constant was art. Whether it was a sketchbook, pen, or paintbrush, creativity was always something she could carry with her, helping her process the world and the people within it.

Her passion for tattooing began as a teenager when she designed her first tattoo for her older sister. That moment sparked a deep appreciation for the way tattoos can hold meaning, preserve memory, and give form to stories that might otherwise go untold.

Now based in Central Indiana, Maya began her apprenticeship at Alien Earth in June 2024. She’s dedicated to growing her technical skill and artistic voice, exploring a variety of styles while maintaining a thoughtful, client-centered approach. For Maya, every tattoo is more than just a design—it's a collaboration, a story, and an extension of identity.
